Mantra, Meditation & Mala-Making Workshop
Explore mantra, meditation and mala-making with Taylor Rose, experienced yoga instructor.
Join us for this special event on January 10, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Butterfly Pavilion.
Start 2019 by setting powerful intentions and tie them into your very own gemstone Mala to use throughout the year! Please join us on January 10th for an intention setting ceremony and Mala making workshop. Taylor Rose will guide you through a visioning and meditation practice in the rainforest before learning how to craft your own Mala.
A Mala is simply a string of beads that are used in a meditation practice. It is a tool to help you count mantras, and acts as a tactile guide as you sit in silence. Mala beads have been used by yogis and spiritual seekers for thousands of years to help keep their minds focused during meditation. A traditional mala is made out of 108 beads, plus one to serve as the guru bead marker, and a tassel. Natural materials are used to provide the mala with a special kind of earth energy. Please review the stones below and indicate the two you are most drawn to in your registration.
