Travel the World with Butterfly Pavilion
Monarchs in Magical Cities | Mexico | February 16-20, 2021
Witness the majesty of the Monarch migration with Butterfly Pavilion and Reefs to Rockies as we travel to Mexico!
Every winter, the cloud forests in the mountains of central Mexico play host to millions and millions of over-wintering monarch butterflies. This aggregation of monarchs in Mexico’s central highlands remains one of the most impressive wildlife spectacles on the planet. When masses of butterflies are in flight, it sounds like rain falling and their cumulative weight can bend branches of oyamel firs. In addition to visiting two butterfly sanctuaries in the state of Mexico, travelers will also visit vibrant Mexico City and colonial Valle de Bravo, one of Mexico’s “Magical Towns”.
We will be having a virtual information session via Zoom on October 28 from 4:30-5:30pm.
Due to Covid-19, this trip will only require a deposit of $100 per person with a final payment due 45 days prior to departure.
