Bug Hunt Party Package
Make your kid’s birthday an adventure! Embark on a guided tour of the gardens and waterways surrounding Butterfly Pavilion, led by your party host, and equipped with a field guide. See how many fascinating invertebrate species you can discover along the way! You might even be able to catch one!
Only available for parties May-September!
This birthday party adventure invites the young explorer to unearth the marvels of bugs we can find right in our backyards, highlighting local biodiversity! The journey outside, an exploration expected to span 15-20 minutes (with the option to extend it at no extra charge), promises a close-up look at the tiny inhabitants that share our world.
This party is great for kids aged 3-10!

Free Time in the schedule is time when you could eat, play games, let kids play in the exhibits, make crafts, request a story time, etc.
Pricing for a 30-person party:
- $465 starting price, members receive a 10% discount
- If you have more than 30 guests but less than 40, you may pay a group admission discount price for those extra guests.
Pricing for a 40-60-person party:
- $880 starting price, members receive a 10% discount
- If you would like to book a party with 40+ guests, please contact parties@butterflies.org
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations with at least one-month notice will be charged a 10% processing fee, and the remainder of the cost will be refunded to the customer.
- Cancellations with at least 3 weeks notice will receive a 50% refund.
- No refund is given for cancellation with less than 3 weeks notice.
- All cancellations must be made via e-mail to the Registration Manager at education@butterflies.org
- If Butterfly Pavilion must cancel your party for any reason, your party will be moved to an open party slot of your choosing at no cost, or you will be given a full refund.
