Rainforest Yoga

Stretch your wings in a tropical oasis with Rainforest Yoga, a unique opportunity to de-stress, unwind and revitalize. Classes are typically held most Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Tripod Photography

Relish a quiet hour of tripod photography in the tropical rainforest before we open our doors to the public. Snap photos of awakening butterflies and exotic tropical flowers in the morning light. Sessions are offered on the first Saturday of the month and begin at 7:45 am.

Whether you’re a paparazzo or can’t figure out your camera phone, join expert photographer Bob Krugmire for hands-on instruction that will teach you to maximize the potential of your camera! Classes are Saturday mornings throughout the year.

Want to keep bees but don't quite know where to start? Work alongside Butterfly Pavilion beekeeping experts and other beginner beekeepers, developing the skills necessary to achieve thriving beehives. Beekeeping Bootcamp is qualified through the Colorado State Beekeeping Association (CSBA)!

Costa Rica Explorer with Butterfly Pavilion

Join us on the trip of a lifetime… Far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, immerse yourself in this lush ecosystem as we discover tropical butterflies, birds, plants, lizards, sloths and more! Guided by Butterfly Pavilion's Lepidopterist, Kathryn Hokamp and a local guide and butterfly expert, you will discover volcanoes, cross hanging bridges, and explore cloud forests – all while enjoying elegant accommodations.

Butterflies at Chatfield

This seasonal habitat at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is home to hundreds of native Colorado butterflies such as swallowtails, monarchs, mourning cloaks and painted ladies. Butterflies at Chatfield is a partnership between Denver Botanic Gardens and Butterfly Pavilion.
