Stretch your wings in a tropical oasis with Rainforest Yoga, a unique opportunity to de-stress, unwind and revitalize. Classes are typically held most Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Tripod Photography

Relish a quiet hour of tripod photography in the tropical rainforest before we open our doors to the public. Snap photos of awakening butterflies and exotic tropical flowers in the morning light. Sessions are offered on the first Saturday of the month and begin at 7:45 am.

Butterflies at Chatfield

This seasonal habitat at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is home to hundreds of native Colorado butterflies such as swallowtails, monarchs, mourning cloaks and painted ladies. Butterflies at Chatfield is a partnership between Denver Botanic Gardens and Butterfly Pavilion.

Special exhibits showcasing impressive toxic animals and plants.
Overwhelming pain, paralysis, death in a matter of minutes. Real peril lurks with the fangs, barbs and stingers of the spineless. Move over sharks – these animals give danger a whole new meaning.
