For 30 years, Butterfly Pavilion has been a driving force in global invertebrate research, conservation, and education. As the world’s first Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited stand-alone nonprofit invertebrate zoo, we have built a legacy of protecting pollinators, restoring habitats, and inspiring the next generation through science and education. We then create a variety of sweet, all-natural products to showcase these flavors: Local Hive Honey, Local Hive Honey Hot Sauce, Local Hive Hot Honey, and Organic Hive Honey. This year, Butterfly Pavilion is bringing the spirit of giving to life with our Animal Wishlist. This is a fun, heartwarming holiday experience where you can donate toward enrichment toys and supplies that support the health and happiness of our animals.
The Animal Wishlist highlights real items our animal care team uses to keep butterflies, tarantulas, sea urchins, and other invertebrates curious, active, and thriving. Just like your pets at home need toys, our animals benefit from enrichment that brings joy, stimulation, and natural behavior to their environment.
This experience is available only when you visit Butterfly Pavilion.
During your visit, look for our Giving Tree decorated with ornaments featuring specific enrichment items for different animals at our zoo. Each ornament includes a QR code you can scan to contribute directly to that item. 

As you explore the zoo, you will spot a few enrichment items already in use, like sea urchins wearing 3D-printed hats and butterflies enjoying colorful feeders. These tools brighten their daily lives, and we want every animal to have the same opportunity. By visiting and donating through the Animal Wishlist, you help us add more enrichment across our entire animal collection throughout the holiday season.
