Library Programs
Bring a program directly to your Library with Butterfly Pavilion's Outreach Programs.
Program Details:
- Length: 45 minutes
- Fee: $150/session + travel
- Group Size/Session: 30 participants/session; additional sessions required for larger groups
- Travel Fee: $0.73/mile round trip between your site and Butterfly Pavilion
- Scholarships: Partial program scholarships may be available for qualifying groups.
- Location: For the safety and wellbeing of both our animals and educators, programs cannot be held outdoors.

By reading beloved stories and encountering live animals, children and families come to appreciate various invertebrates as they take on a whole new dimension as literary characters.
Bug Bites
Discover the world of bug-eating, where culinary traditions meet sustainable practices which can reshape the future—plus, get the chance to try a bug yourself!
Bee The Change
Explore the exciting world of bees through interactive discussion, and captivating visuals. Learn about the anatomy and life of bees and the importance of pollination. Students will be buzzing with excitement and appreciation for these essential pollinators.
Web World
Spiders are found in great numbers all over the world, including in our houses! But why?… In this fun and interactive program, we’ll get to meet several spider friends and explore what secrets they have that make them some of the most successful animals ever.
Exploration Stations for Libraries
Transform your library into a hands-on invertebrate discovery experience!
Butterfly Pavilion educators travel to your space and set up five interactive activity stations each featuring crafts, games, and exploration activities centered around a central theme. Guests of all ages are free to move through the stations at their own pace, choosing activities that spark their curiosity and match their interests.
This open-exploration model makes the program accessible and engaging for a wide range of learners, from young children to adults, encouraging creativity and a sense of wonder about the natural world.
Butterfly Pavilion provides all materials; your library just needs to supply the tables and chairs.
