Calling all photographers and spider enthusiasts! Capture the beauty and mystery of spiders from around the world and participate in Butterfly Pavilion’s “Spiders Around the World” Photo Contest. Showcase your talent and passion for these incredible arachnids, whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting out. Mike’s Camera, our giveaway sponsor, will be judging the competition, so you have the chance to impress the experts and win some fantastic prizes!
Contest Details:
- Submission Period: September 21st – October 19th
- Review Period: Our panel of experts will review submissions following the deadline.
- Winner Announcement: October 31st
Rules:
- Tag @ButterflyPavilion, @mymikescamera, and use our contest hashtag #BPSpiders24 when submitting your photos.
- All photos must be of a spider taken at Butterfly Pavilion between September 21 – October 19.
- Must follow all employee guidelines when taking pictures of Rosie/Goldie.
- Maximum of three photo submissions per person between Instagram and Facebook.
- PLEASE DO NOT:

- Use tripods or flash photography.

- Submit any photos with people in them.

- Touch or move the free hanging orb weavers.
Additional Information:
- Three winners, selected by Mike’s Camera staff, will be notified on October 31st via Instagram or Facebook direct message.
- General admission is required to visit Butterfly Pavilion during the Spiders Around the World exhibition, September 21 – October 31, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily.
