Homeschool Day offers multiple experiences designed around a central theme that explores Butterfly Pavilion’s featured habitats and animals in a unique way. This event offers an admission discount for homeschool families and allows them to experience typical field trip opportunities, such as special classes, activities, and crafts.

March 6, 2025: Invertebrates in Literature and Art
Join us for a day exploring invertebrates in art and literature! Discover how invertebrates inspire captivating stories and stunning artwork—and how art and literature, in turn, play a vital role in their conservation. Special guest illustrator Cathy Morrison will read her book Meet the Pollinators: A Night and Day Adventure. The Bookies will be on site with copies of the book, and Cathy will be doing a pollinator craft with the kids following the reading!

Celebrate pollinators and learn how they support our world and how you can support them! Learn more about invertebrate pollinators and discover how you can contribute to community science efforts to help these vital animals thrive.
