We know that you love visiting the Butterfly Pavilion! We also know that one of the best parts of any visit is capturing photos of our gorgeous butterflies and unique insects. With our Beginning Macro Photography Class, you can join our resident bug photographer Bob Krugmire and learn some of the photography basics (along with tips and tricks) to make those photographs even better! If you are new to photography, would like to learn new skills, or just love photographing bugs, our Beginner class is the perfect way to delve into this unique field of photography! Bob covers both traditional camera and cell phone photography, and we promise you’ll have fun along the way.

Classes are every second Saturday of the month from 8:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M.

• Non-members: $15.00

Private Classes:

If you would like to schedule a private Beginner Macro Photography class for your photography group, contact our education department at education@butterflies.org or 720-974-1877.

Refund Policy:

If you are no longer able to attend, please contact Butterfly Pavilion 48 hours before your class and you will be give the option to transfer your registration to a different class date. No refunds are given once the class has been purchased unless Butterfly Pavilion cancels the class for any reason. No transfers will be allowed after the class has ended if the participant is unable to attend.
