Butterfly Pavilion camps are designed to create memorable, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and a lasting connection to the natural world. Campers explore science in action while discovering the fascinating role invertebrates play in keeping ecosystems healthy and thriving.

- Engaging, Screen-Free Time: We swap tablets for magnifying glass and digital worlds for the great outdoors, ensuring your child spends their summer fully present and immersed in nature.
- Reliable Schedules: Camps are week-long, day camps (not overnight) that offer families a reliable, enriching summer option. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily.
- Tactile, Hands-on Activities: Interactive projects that are informative, and designed to appeal to a variety of interests and abilities.
- Opportunities to Explore: Camps get access to explore the many exhibits of Butterfly Pavilion and experience the plants and animals that call it home.
- STEAM Topics: Fun and exciting topics representing a range of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) disciplines.
- Expert Guidance: Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced counselors who will inspire, and care for, your camper.

Summer Camp Adventure
A full week of hands-on exploration where kids discover insects, butterflies, and the natural world through STEAM-based activities, outdoor learning, and interactive experiences at Butterfly Pavilion.
Fall Break Discovery Camp
One-day themed camps filled with seasonal science fun, from spiders and monarch butterflies to hands-on exploration that brings kids closer to nature’s fascinating fall transformations.
Winter Break Bug Camp
Cool-weather camp adventures where kids explore the world of insects and invertebrates through creative experiments, challenges, and up-close animal encounters.
Spring Break Nature Camp
Springtime science meets hands-on discovery as campers explore pollinators, butterflies, and emerging ecosystems through engaging activities and nature-based learning experiences.

Out-of-School Day Camps are sold as one-day camps. Spring Break and Summer Break are sold as week-long camps.
2026 Pricing
Full Day (9 AM – 4 PM): $85 (Non-member & Member)
Full Week (9 AM – 4 PM): $325 (Non-member & Member)
Butterfly Pavilion is excited to offer payment options to help make camp programs accessible to all.
- Flexible payment plan options are also available. If you are interested in utilizing a payment plan, you must fill out the camp payment plan form.
- Scholarships are available for up to 25% of camp cost for qualifying students. If you are applying for a scholarship, you must fill out the scholarship application form.
Cancellations with at least 3 weeks notice will be charged a 10% processing fee, and the remainder of the cost will be refunded to the customer. All cancellations and transfers must be made via e-mail to the Camp Director at least 3 weeks before the date of the camp and will be charged a 10% processing fee, with the remainder of the cost refunded to the customer. Transfers may only be made into camps that still have availability. No refund is given for cancellation with less than 3 weeks notice. This includes absence due to illness. A full refund will be given to the customer if the Butterfly Pavilion cancels a camp for any reason.
Please note, we close camp registration one week before the start date of camp. You will not be able to sign up for camps after registration closes. Thank you for your understanding.
If your child requires emergency, prescription, or over-the-counter medication during camp, a parent/guardian and the child’s physician must complete and submit the appropriate Colorado Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan, Colorado Asthma Care Plan, and/or Medication Administration form two weeks prior to your child’s first day of camp. Upon review of your camper’s forms, it may be necessary to meet with the parent/guardian to develop a Health Plan.
