Homeschool Field Trips

Explore our engaging exhibits and interact with thousands of invertebrates! Homeschoolers and families can take a field trip together at Butterfly Pavilion.

What’s Included

  • Self-guided exploration of indoor and outdoor exhibits
  • Optional 45-minute facilitated class with a Butterfly Pavilion educator
  • An exhibit rotation guide to help chaperone groups disperse throughout the facility

Pricing

Students: $6 per student
Facilitated class add-on: +$3 per student
Adults: 1 free adult per 10 students (additional adults pay General Admission)

Class Times

9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Ages

All ages welcome. Activities focus on PreK–8th grade.

Group Size

No minimum required. Must maintain a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio.

To Qualify for Group Rates

  1. At least one chaperone for every ten children
  2. Payment for the entire group with one payment (cash or credit card)
  3. Request confirmed in advance — at least 72 hours’ notice; 2 weeks for classes
