Macro Photography with Mike's Cameras

Join Butterfly Pavilion and Mike’s Camera for a three-part photography workshop that transforms the tiniest creatures into unforgettable works of art. In this immersive experience, you will learn how to capture extraordinary images of invertebrates and discover a new appreciation for the little animals that power our planet. These often-overlooked species are the foundation of ecosystems worldwide and up close you will see just how incredible they truly are. You may even find yourself falling in love with the creatures that run the world.
The first and final sessions will be held online to introduce techniques and review your work. The highlight of the workshop is a special three-hour, in-person shooting session at Butterfly Pavilion. Participants will have rare access to photograph live invertebrates in the exhibits before guests arrive and then return after closing hours for an exclusive classroom session with additional remarkable species waiting for your lens.
