Butterfly Pavilion’s brand-new Nature Play Area is officially open! This new addition expands children’s experiences at Butterfly Pavilion, encouraging them to discover how to play in natural spaces in a safe and engaging way. 

With musical instruments, a sand put, natural obstacles, and gardens to explore, we’ve created a place where kids can climb, crawl, wiggle, and wander, just like pollinators do! 

This is a self-guided nature play space: 

• There are no staff stationed here 

• Caregivers must stay and play with their children 

• Nature can be unpredictable, play smart and play safe 

By entering, you agree to explore at your own pace and at your own risk. 

The Nature Play may be closed when: 

• Snow or ice is present 

• Paths are muddy or slippery 
• Weather is stormy, windy or extreme
