The Gardens on Spring Creek Butterfly House
Experience a botanical oasis in Fort Collins! This tropical Butterfly House is home to hundreds of flying butterflies with beautiful plantings that they love. Admission to the Gardens on Spring Creek includes entry into our Butterfly House. To visit the Butterfly House at the Gardens on Spring Creek, click here to purchase admissions. Then, when you arrive, please check in at Guest Services to reserve your entry time!
Tickets must be purchased in advance, online for a specific date and time. Tickets will not be available in person. Please print out your ticket or plan to show on your phone when you arrive.

Butterflies at Chatfield
Open from Memorial Day - Labor Day
This seasonal habitat at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is home to hundreds of native Colorado butterflies such as swallowtails, monarchs, mourning cloaks and painted ladies. Butterflies at Chatfield is a partnership between Denver Botanic Gardens and Butterfly Pavilion.
There are more than 50 indigenous plant species in this garden. The rest of the plants (about 20 species) were chosen for the nectar production for butterfly food and are not native species in Colorado. Butterflies at Chatfield is presented to you through a partnership with Butterfly Pavilion and Denver Botanic Gardens. The habitat is open from May 28 through September 6, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily.
